Warburg Pincus eyes New Breed Logistics sale after almost a decade


warehouse2_sqUS private equity major Warburg Pincus is said to be planning a sale of New Breed Logistics which could see the supply chain management business valued at more than $1bn.

New Breed is currently working with investment banks ahead of talks with other private equity firms and other parties which could be interested in the business, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The company, which employs more than 7,000 people and works on behalf of clients including Siemens, Walt Disney Co and the US Marine Corps.

Warburg bought into the business way back in 2005, picking up the company from fellow buyout house Eos Partners.
