San Francisco-based housecleaning startup Homejoy has raised $38m in Series A and B capital.
Google Ventures led the Series A investment and participated in the Series B round, which was led by Redpoint Ventures.
Max Levchin, First Round Capital, Oliver Jung and Mike Hirshland also participated in the round, which brought the company’s fundraising total to $40m.
The company plans to expand the range of services it offers to its clients and increase headcount.
Homejoy currently operates in 31 cities in the US and Canada.
Other companies backed by Google Ventures include online marketplace Atlas Venture, which raised an $18m round earlier this year.
