Tintri nabs $75m in Insight-led Series E


data storage_lrgInsight Venture Partners has led a $75m Series E round for Californian startup Tintri, which makes VM-aware enterprise storage appliances.

Existing backers investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures and New Enterprise Associates also participated in the round, which brought the company’s fundraising total to $135m.

The company said the funds will help accelerate its global expansion and technology innovation.

Since its launch Tintri has consistently exceeded triple digit growth year over year. Last year the company’s revenues soared 115 per cent as its customer base more than doubled.
