Texas-based Terra Firma Capital Group has backed a Series C financing round for smart critical infrastructure provider FTL Global Solutions.
The company said it hoped to see its undisclosed capital raise fully subscribed by the fourth quarter, with proceeds slated for operations, research, product development and M&A.
FTL says its mobile systems can be customised to use renewable or traditional sources of energy to generate reliable electric power where an electrical grid or fuel sources are unavailable.
The company also provides mobile systems for water purification, medical and communications services.
FTL chief executive Tony Saxton said, “Today, over two billion people lack access to electricity and clean water.
“Our solutions, which are lightweight, mobile and scaleable, can generate power and provide critical infrastructure services anywhere they are required.
FTL Global’s solutions enables our corporate clients to operate throughout the world—and we empower our NGO partners to provide the power, water, medical and communications services which help underserved communities build crucial economic and social progress.”
