Listed Swedish private equity firm Ratos has reportedly hired a pair of banks to run a potential listing or sale of window and doormaker Inwido.
The firm bought into Inwido way back in 2004, and sold the company’s home improvement arm to fellow Swedish buyout house Priveq in 2012.
Ratos has hired Carnegie and Handelsbanken to advise on the exit according to Reuters, which cited two people familiar with the matter.
Inwido had EBITDA of SEK407m ($64m) last year on sales of SEK4.3bn, mostly across the Nordic region.
The business is focused on project development and management, which are carried out by a network of sub-contractors.
