Singapore’s Luminor Capital backs Swiss trading platform Next Generation Finance Invest


Singapore private equity firm Luminor Capital has committed CHF5.5m ($6m) to Swiss financial trading platform Next Generation Finance Invest.

The investment will mainly to be used as growth capital with the ambition of becoming a global player in the field of social trading and investment products, the firm said.

Next Generation Finance Invest targets companies which are aim to benefit from megatrends in finance in the field of electronic trading and investment platforms. Its portfolio includes ayondo, Gekko Global Markets, OANDA , StockPulse, yavalu and 2iQ.

Following the new investment, Next Generation Finance Invest will be transformed from an investment company into an operational holding company and delist from BX Berne eXchange.

Luminor Capital focuses on global high-growth sectors and is approved under Singapore’s Global Investor Programme (GIP).
