Polaris has sold a 46.5 per cent interest in Alliance+ and will remain the company’s majority shareholder.
Since its launch in 2009 Alliance+ has shown annual growth of 27 per cent and has transformed from a conventional cleaning company into a facility services provider that also offers office support and property services.
Last year the company posted an EBITDA of DKK69m on revenues of DKK931m, or three times the 2009 figure.
Kirk Kapital said it aims to double the company’s revenues by 2017 via acquisitions and further support of its facility management.
Polaris’ other recent exits include the sale of security and infrastructure business AddPro to fellow European private equity firm Perusa.
AltAssets reported that the firm made a return of more than four times from the deal.
