doctors-operate_sqGoldman Sachs Group’s private equity arm and Oak Investment Partners are believed to be nearing a $1bn-plus sale of iHealth Technologies.

A small number of private equity firms are in talks with the pair about a deal according to Reuters, which cited people familiar with the situation.

Goldman bought into iHealth in 2006, five years after the company was launched to provide analytics and services to reduce medical and administration costs for healthcare organisations.

Earlier this month Oak Investment Partners led a $17m Series B financing round for private company information business DueDil.

Existing investors Notion Capital and Passion Capital also took part in the financing, which brings the total raised by DueDil to $22m over the past 10 months.
