Notion Capital helps Rockabox raise £3m

london2_lrgNotion Capital has led a £3m Series A round for Rockabox to help the video technology company expand into new markets.

The round was also backed by existing investors Frog Capital and fourteen17.

Rockabox noted that video is currently the fastest growing part of the $100bn digital advertising market and its share is expected to reach 14.5 per cent by 2016.

The company’s Shutters technology enables companies to synchronise video content with brand messaging, interactive features and e-commerce functionality.

Its clients include Honda, Diesel, Estée Lauder, Hackett and House of Fraser.

Last month Notion, which is based in London, participated in a $35m Series C round for UK-based cloud contact centre company NewVoiceMedia, which was led by Bessemer Venture Partners.
