India’s largest online video advertising network Vdopia has picked up almost $3.4m of Series B financing from a single investor.
The firm, which is backed by Nexus Venture Partners, is also targeting another $4m, according to a filing with the US Securities & Exchange Commission.
Indian investor Nexus made a $700,000 seed investment in Vdopia in 2008 and followed up with a $4m Series A investment a year later.
Vdopia was founded by Stanford and Indian Institute of Technology graduates, and currently has sales and development offices in California as well as Gurgaon and Mumbai in India.
