Newlight Partners, a private equity firm focused on North America, has invested into managed detection and response (MDR) platform Pondurance.
Equity from the investment will help Pondurance accelerate its growth by deepening its R&D efforts, increasing innovation and bolstering the team.
The value of the investment was not disclosed.
Pondurance is a MDR solution developer which helps companies combat cybersecurity challenges including ransomware, as well as meeting compliance requirements. The advanced threat intelligence platform continuously hunts, investigates, validates and contains threats.
In tandem with the investment, Pondurance has named Doug Howard as its new CEO and Niloofar Razi Howe as the chair of its board of directors.
