Oak Investment Partners also took part in the Series C round, the third time it has backed Mimosa.
The company, which has raised a total of $38m, said it planned to use the capital to expand its line of wireless products and ramp up its global sales.
NEA venture partner Greg Papadopoulos said, “The wireless industry is set to explode in the coming years, and Mimosa’s technology is unique in its ability to help networks scale to meet the needs of the global communications market.
“We are excited to have the chance to ‘double down’ on a company so clearly poised to transform and revolutionize the wireless space.”
