Mobile app performance company Crittercism gets $30m Scale-led Series C

mobile phone touch screen pdaScale Venture Partners has backed a $30m Series C financing round for mobile app performance management company Crittercism.

InterWest Partners, VMware and Accenture also took part in the round, which brought Crittercism’s total funding to more than $48m.

The company’s existing investors include Google Ventures, Opus Capital and Shasta Ventures.

Scale partner Andy Vitus will join Crittercism’s board of directors following the deal.

He said, “Mobile applications have become a cornerstone for the enterprise, creating a significant market opportunity to support these applications.

“Crittercism is empowering enterprises to deliver better apps for critical business functions.

“I’m excited to be joining such an accomplished Board and look forward to helping Crittercism expand its footprint.”
