Mobile app linking service URX picks up $12m Accel-led funding round

mobile phone4Accel Partners has led a $12m Series A financing round for mobile marketing links business URX.

First Round Capital, Google Ventures and SV Angel also took part in the round, which brought URX’s total funding to $15.1m since it was founded in February last year.

URX aims to prevent users hitting stumbling blocks in accessing mobile content, by creating links which work everywhere and route users to the right place for their devices.

Accel partner Rich Wong said, “Mobile deeplinking is widely considered the next phase of the mobile economy and URX is on the forefront of this market.

“URX is the only company in this space with the vision of what deeplinking can truly do combined with the advanced technology to make it happen.”
