LBO France has acquired a majority stake in French mechanics company Serapid, marking two deals in as many days for the firm.
Serapid, which has developed technology that can transfer heavy loads since 1972, works in sectors including medical technology, defense, automation and entertainment.
LBO bought a majority stake in RG Safety Group yesterday, valuing the company at €145m.
In January the firm closed its White Knight Fund IX on €450m, at less than half of its original €1bn target. The fund focuses on mid-market companies.
LBO invested in commercial space manufacturer HMY last month and French orthopedic manufacturer FH three years ago. The firm also owns well-known fashion brand The Kooples.
