The firms participated in Narrative’s $11.5m Series C round alongside existing investors Battery Ventures and Northwestern University.
The Chicago-based company said it will use the funding to increase its investment in its patented automated authoring platform Quill as well as to step up its sales and marketing efforts.

Last month SAP Ventures participated in a $43m financing round for digital fitness tracker Fitbit alongside Qualcomm Ventures and Softbank Capital.
