Jordan Company exits Casco Automotive Group

carPrivate equity firm The Jordan Company has agreed to exit Cap-Con Automotive Technologies’ unit Casco Automotive Group to Amphenol Corporation.

The firm bought Cap-Con Automotive Technologies Group in partnership with its existing management team in November 2012 in a $450m deal.

Casco, which has annual sales of $220m, operates seven plants worldwide, including four development centres, with facilities in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Managing partner at the Jordan Company Jonathan Boucher said, “We look forward to continuing to own and grow the Cap-Con business. Significant opportunities remain for ARC as vehicle airbag content continues to rise due to increasing demand for safety features in both developed and emerging markets.”

Earlier this year it was reported that Jordan Company had beaten the $3bn target for its third private equity fund.
