Investment firms Iconiq Capital and Sorenson Capital also committed capital in the Series B financing round which brings total funding to nearly $165m.
Pluralsight is an e-learning provider aimed at technology professionals and has seen triple-digit growth for the past four years.
The cash will be used to support growth, said the company, and broaden its enterprise customer base. The business also hopes to expand into new content categories.
Insight’s Ryan Hinkle said, “Pluralsight has created a one world schoolhouse for professionals across the globe looking to fine tune their skills and advance their careers.”
The firm previously laid down $27.5m investment into Pluralsight in January 2013.
Insight closed its eighth fund on $2.57bn – making it the largest vehicle raised by the tech-focused investor – in May last year.
