Private equity-backed hunting accessories supplier Hunter’s Specialties has reportedly picked a group of financial and strategic suitors interested in buying the business.
The news was reported by Dow Jones, which cited a person close to the situation.
Last month it was reported that the company, which is backed by private equity firm Centerfield Capital Partners, had drawn interest from Midwest-based private equity firms.
Hunter’s products include animal calls, odour elimination products, animal scents, camouflage related products, educational videos and archery supplies.
Centerfield backed the company in 2003 with a $3m investment.
