UK-based home cleaning booking service Housekeep.com has secured a $1m investment from venture capital and angel investors.
Pentland Group led the round, which also saw participation from tech entrepreneurs Brett Akker and Justin Peters, the founders of Streetcar and Kabbee, respectively.
The company offers users online booking, fixed prices and automated payments.
Housekeep was launched by angel investor and former venture capital investor at Smedvig Capital Avin Rabheru.
Pentland Group chairman Stephen Rubin said, “We were attracted to Housekeep’s focus on service, operational excellence and people, and believe this dedication will stand the business in very good stead.”
Housekeep’s sector peer Homejoy raised $38m in Series A and B capital last December.
