HgCapital invests in electronic trading business Ullink

UllinkEurope-focused private equity investor HgCapital has made a majority investment in electronic trading application supplier Ullink.

The 13-year-old business says it has more than 150 of the world’s top-tier banks as its clients, with 90 per cent of its revenues coming from outside its native France.

HgCapital said the deal was in line with its approach of backing global providers of vertical market application software, and believes the company has an excellent platform for growth.

Jonathan Boyes, director of HgCapital’s TMT Team, said, “We are delighted to be working with Laurent and his talented team.

“We have been researching front office trading systems for several years and have tracked the excellent progress that Ullink has made in establishing themselves as a genuine global player.

“We see real potential to grow Ullink’s business internationally and further enhance its product offering.”
