13 Jun 2014

german flagGerman web analytics startup Webtrekk has raised €25m in its Series C capital from Deutsche Private Equity (DPE).

The company said it will invest the funds in product innovation and its distribution networks.

Webtrekk has customers in 25 countries and has recently opened offices in the US, China, Italy, Spain and the Benelux region.

DPE partner Lars Becker said, “DPE has been watching Webtrekk for some time and is impressed with its innovative capacity, which has allowed it to become established in an interesting growth market.

“Webtrekk has been very successful, largely with its own funds. Webtrekk is headed by top executives and we anticipate that the combination of strong entrepreneurs and sufficient financial resources will continue to drive the company’s growth.”

In April this year DPE made a growth capital investment in SLM Solutions, a manufacturer of metal-based additive manufacturing technologies.
