Bessemer, Marker help Israel’s Dynamic Yield raise $12m Series B

conversionIsraeli website optimization and personalization specialist Dynamic Yield has secured $12m in a Series B round led by venture capital firm Marker.

The round also saw participation from Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors and the New York Times Company.

In addition, ProSiebenSat.1 Media joined the round as a strategic investor and has agreed to market Dynamic Yield’s product in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Dynamic Yield’s technology optimises more than 2bn web pages every month and delivers a personalized experience, from promotions, to content and calls-to-action, to more than 120m monthly website visitors.

Bessemer partner Adam Fisher said, “BVP has a strong track record investing in SaaS solutions and we love to make smart bets on companies that develop elegant solutions for specific sectors and functions.

“That’s why we funded Dynamic Yield at the beginning and continue to back Liad and his team: They developed a truly elegant SaaS solution that addresses a pervasive and growing challenge. There is a large market for this product and the product works.”

BVP recently led a $6m round for encryption software company Virtru and invested $15m in cloud-based construction management software provider Procore Technologies.
