Bare Snacks to pick up more venture capital money through VMG investment

Bare snacksVMG Partners is reportedly set to invest in healthy snack foods business Bare Snacks just over a year after the company picked up $9.25m of financing.

No financial details are available according to peHub, which cited two sources.

NGEN Partners led the previous $9.25m financing round for Bare alongside co-investors Avrio Capital and Silas Capital in July 2013.

Bare said it would use the capital to expand capacity, add to its management team and build its brand.

The company makes organic apple chips and fruit snacks made entirely from real fruit before being baked rather than fried.
