Baird Capital has led an $8m financing round for software company High Street Partners, which aims to provide services simplifying international expansion.
Sigma Partners and Gold Hill Capital also invested as part of the round, which HSP said was earmarked to accelerate the launch of new applications within its cloud-based software platform.
The business makes software which covers finance and accounting, human resources and legal requirements arising in international business, such as core accounting, document storage and expense reporting.
Sigma Partners managing director Paul Flanagan said, “HSP is strengthening its cloud-based solutions in a unique way.
“Their business has grown tremendously, and we’re excited to continue to support the company as it pursues a rapidly expanding market opportunity.”
Multi-asset investor Baird has backed more than 260 companies to date as the direct private equity arm of Robert W Baird & Co.
The firm’s venture capital department targets early and expansion-stage companies in the technology-enabled services and healthcare sectors.
