Apax Partners France buys SK fireSafety

fireplace-fire-1423813-mBuyout firm Apax Partners France has acquired Dutch company SK FireSafety Group from Scheybeek Investments, Bencis Capital Partners and other shareholders.

SK FireSafety CEO Ewald Draaijer said the funds will help the company expand its activities selling, designing and installing fire protection and detection systems and double the company’s annual turnover from €100m last year to €250m.

The company is based in the Netherlands and operates in Belgium, the United Kingdom, Norway and the United Arab Emirates.

Last year, Apax sold automotive sensing systems developer International Electronics & Engineering (IEE) to a consortium that included Chinese strategic investors and an international financial investor.

Companies in its current portfolio include Albioma, Altran, Capio and Europe Snacks.
