European private equity firm Allianz Capital Partners has acquired the 20MW Haut Chemin wind farm in France.
The project, acquired from French renewable energy company EOLE-RES, is currently under construction with commercial utilisation scheduled for summer 2014.
With this acquisition Allianz’s total renewable energy capacity exceeds 1GW. The portfolio of ACP now comprises 42 wind farms in Germany, France, Italy and Sweden and seven solar parks in Italy and France. All assets are 100 per cent owned by Allianz.

Last month Allianz acquired three wind parks with a combined capacity of 50MW in France and Italy. which themselves followed recent investment in the wind sector, after the firm purchased two wind farms in France and another in Germany with a combined capacity of 100MW in June 2013.
