Former Mayfield partner Todd Kimmel’s new investment firm Montage Ventures is out targeting up to $37.5m for its second fundraise.
The California-based firm is yet to register any capital for Montage Ventures Fund II according to a filing it made with the US securities regulator.
Montage pulled in at least $11.3m for its debut fund in 2014 according to a previous filing, although it is unclear if it ever reached its $17.5m target.
Managing partner Kimmel was previously a partner at Mayfield and a former principal at ATV Capital.
Montage invests across financial services, e-commerce, marketplaces and healthcare, and exits to date include real-time machine learning hotel recommendation platform Olset and 3D shoe sizing imaging database Shoefitr.
