22 Feb 2012

Venture capital company True Ventures (TV) has invested $1m of seed funding in business inventory management startup Stitch Labs.

Stitch Labs founder Brandon Levey said he plans to use the new money to expand his development team.

It is the first round of funding received by San Francisco-based Stitch Labs following its creation last year.

The company offers a dashboard which manages sales, inventory and shipping information for online businesses and allows them to integrate with popular shopping platforms such as Etsy and Shopify.

TV has $350m under management and focuses on providing funds to early-stage growth companies in the technology sector. It has previously invested in companies including founders Automattic and online technology media providers GigaOm.
