Partners Group acquires majority stake in CSS Corp for $270m


california_170sqInvestment firm Partners Group bought a majority stake in technology support services company CSS Corp for $270m to gain exposure to a sector that it said should see strong growth.

California-based CSS Corp provides a range of services including mobility technology, cloud enablement, technical support and remote infrastructure management to blue chip technology companies. Apart from operations in the US and Europe, the company has a large delivery presence in India, the US, the Philippines, Poland, Mauritius, Costa Rica and China.

Head of Singapore at Partners Group Andreas Baumann said, “CSS Corp is already a leader in the supply of specialist technological outsourcing services; this is a sector in which we expect to see strong growth going forward as demand for these services increases.

“We are looking forward to working with Tiger and the outstanding management team that he has assembled at CSS Corp to realize our shared growth ambitions for the company.”

Zug-headquartered Partners Group currently has €28bn under management in private equity, private real estate, private infrastructure and private debt.

Partners recently exited its stake in UK debt purchasing firm Cabot Credit Management to financial services private equity firm J.C. Flowers & Co.
