21 Sep 2012

Healthcare and life sciences-focused buyout house Linden Capital Partners has promoted Todd Van Horn to principal after four years at the firm.

Prior to joining Linden Van Horn, pictured, was a principal and founding member of Healthcare Investment Partners, a private equity partnership focused on healthcare products and related services companies.

He began his career in the healthcare investment banking group at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Linden, which has $575m of assets under management, also promoted Bill Drehkoff to partner three years after he rejoined the Linden team.

Drehkoff began his investing career with the Linden Capital founders at First Chicago Equity Capital more than 12 years ago.

His focus to date has been on developing platform investments in diagnostics, oral care, life sciences, and specialty distribution.

Last month Linden hired Mark Sullivan as a principal focusing on human capital initiatives.

Sullivan brings over ten years of experience in executive search and talent management to Linden.
