New York-based RRE Ventures has hired Lerer Ventures principal Steve Schlafman to work on seed and early-stage investments.
Prior to Lerer Schlafman, pictured, was vice president of business development at Stickybits Inc and Turntable.fm and director of venture investments at the Kraft Group.
He has also held business development, strategy and corporate finance roles at Massive Inc and Microsoft.

RRE closed its most recent fund on $230m last November, bringing its total capital raised to $1bn since it was founded in 1994.
