Investment manager PineBridge Investments has beefed up its team by appointing Jason Fisher as senior vice president and head of consultant relations for the Americas and Europe.
Fisher is joining the firm from JP Morgan Asset Management, where he most recently served as consultant advisor and executive director of US institutional consultant sales.
The firm expects Fisher, who will be based in Los Angeles, to strengthen its relationships with global institutional consultancies.
PineBridge CEO David Jiang said, “Jason’s strong business development acumen and experience will be instrumental in strengthening the firm’s relationships with the consultant community in the Americas and Europe.
“His appointment underscores our continued commitment to deepening our relationships with institutional investors and to growing our firm’s client base.”
Last month AltAssets reported that PineBridge’s European head Rhonda Ryan left the firm to “explore other opportunities”.
Earlier this year it was reported that the firm lost two members of its private equity secondaries group, including team leader Harvey Lambert.
PineBridge had $71.5bn under management as of the end of March this year.
