Private equity firm Perella Weinberg Partners has strengthened its team by appointing four new partners.
All of the firm’s new partners, Michael Grace, Frances Ni, Vladimir Shendelman and Kevin Stahl are based in New York.
Prior to joining Perella in 2006, Grace worked at Citigroup, Salomon Smith Barney and its predecessor firms. He specialised in M&A deals in the financial technology, media and telecommunications, and consumer products sectors.
Ni is the firm’s chief accounting officer and co-head of its asset management business. She has also served as CFO at ReachCapital and was the accounting manager at FrontPoint Partners.
As Perella’s deputy general counsel, Shendelman is responsible for providing legal counsel to the advisory and asset management businesses.
Stahl joined the firm in January 2012 after serving as a managing director and co-head of US real estate investment banking at RBC Capital Markets.
Perella founding partner and CEO Joseph Perella said, “We are excited to welcome these four outstanding individuals to the firm’s partnership. Michael, Frances and Vlad have been with the Firm virtually since its inception in 2006, and Kevin joined as a Managing Director early last year to head our real estate advisory effort.
“We look forward to their continued contributions as we execute on our commitment to provide the highest standard of advisory and asset management services to our clients and investors globally.”
In September it was reported that Perella was seeking to offload railcar leasing and servicing company Flagship Rail Service.
