Private equity firm Nova Capital Management has decide to promote Jonathan Seal to investment partner only a year after he joined the firm.
Seal joined Nova in January 2012 and has been significantly involved in managing the Parseq portfolio following the public to private acquisition of the business in late 2011.
He has also been responsible for coordinating the firm’s new business activities in Europe.
Prior to joining Nova, Seal spent three years as a founding member of the team managing the Rapid Realisations Fund, where he led a number of investments. He has also worked as a corporate financier with Livingstone Partners.
Since its inception in 2002 Nova has acquired or taken over the management of portfolios totalling $1.5bn in value.
The firm currently manages investments 27 businesses primarily operating in Western Europe and North America, across a broad range of sectors.
