Gryphon Investors principal Jef Rogers has stepped down after nearly 12 years with the San Francisco-based private equity firm.
It is unclear what his plans are, but he said that he is pursuing other interests, according to PeHUB.
Prior to joining Gryphon in 2002, Rogers served as a vice president at Citadel Investment Group’s private investment unit.
He has also worked at Recovery Equity Partners and Booz & Co.
The firm closed its latest fund on $365m last October, comfortably exceeding its $250m target. That fundraise followed a $415m final close for its third buyout fund in 2006 and a $100m bridge vehicle in 2008.
