Swedish private equity firm EQT has reportedly poached managing director of Morgan Stanley’s European leveraged finance and acquisition finance team.
A report by Reuters, said Yu has left Morgan Stanley this month.
Yu joined Morgan Stanley in 2009 after 15 years with JP Morgan.
The report noted that Morgan Stanley advised EQT on its acquisition of bandage maker BSN from Montagu private Equity for €1.8bn.
The firm also advised EQT on the sale of its interest in Danish software group KMD to Advent International in October.
Morgan Stanley has recently hired former Citi executive Yannick Perreve to join its European leveraged finance and acquisition finance team.
