UK private equity house Dunedin Capital Partners has bumped Nicholas Hoare up to chief operating officer among four other promotions within the firm.
Jon Ma, Oliver Bevan and Simon Rowan were all made investment directors by the mid-market specialist, while Jamie Moody has taken on the role of senior associate.
Dunedin said all five had been extremely active in driving the growth of its portfolio through eleven bolt-ons in the last year, as well as pushing the firm’s international growth.
Hoare has been involved in buy-outs of Red Commerce, CitySprint and Weldex since joining the firm in 2007, and sits on the board of artificial limb supplier RSL Steeper.
Bevan, Rowan and former COO Ma will all be responsible for making UK deals for the firm and managing its portfolio companies.
Dunedin managing partner Shaun Middleton said, “These promotions demonstrate our ongoing commitment to nurturing the individual talent that we have at Dunedin and recognise the contributions that Nick, Jon, Oli, Simon and Jamie make to value creation in our portfolio.”
Dunedin’s Enterprise Investment Trust announced last week it had increased its net assets from £150.1m to £163m in 2011, an 8.8 per cent rise.
