Drive Capital brings in two new partners following $250m debut fundraise


board-conference-hire_sqMidwest US venture investor Drive Capital has hired two new partners in the wake of closing its inaugural $250m fund.

Robert Hatta joins the firm as a talent partner from JumpStart Ventures, where he held a similar role. He will be tasked with helping portfolio companies build their teams.

Ned Schwartz will be responsible for sourcing new investments focused on healthcare IT and services following five years as an investors at Norwest Venture Partners and General Atlantic.

Drive co-founder Mark Kvamme said, “It’s an exciting time at Drive as we continue to expand our team of experienced partners in the Midwest.

“With the addition of both Robert and Ned, we hope to build great companies in the region by arming innovators with the right talent, tools and connections to build long-term, sustainable businesses.”
