Over the next few months, Tworetzky – who is the brother in law of Facebook founder Mark Zukerberg – said he will be “thinking about, discussing, and ultimately joining or building a new venture”.
Tworetzky said, “As a previous investor at Shasta Ventures, I’m excited to return to this great team while I investigate my next step, considering spaces such as ecommerce, education, healthcare, and financial services.”
Shasta an early-stage investment firm focused on the consumer internet, mobile and software sectors in the US.
The firm has previously invested in companies such as Nextdoor, Nest Labs, LiquidSpace, Cabulous (now Flywheel), Mint, Lithium and TaskRabbit.
