Arle hires German and Serbian experts to strengthen team

16 Apr 2012

Arle Capital has bumped its investment team to 15 people spanning ten nationalities thanks to two new hires.

German market expert Roumyana Boshnakova has joined the firm from 3i, while dual Serbian-British national Senka Jeremic was plucked from Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

The firm said as well as Boshnakova’s German experience he had deep knowledge of the industrial sector and active ownership of portfolio companies – three key pillars of the Arle’s investment strategy.

Jeremic has six years of private equity and leveraged finance experience and worked closely with members of Arle during his time at Bank of America, including the successful exit of Norwegian cable operator Get.

Arle managing partner John Arney said, “We have been fortunate to secure two highly experienced and successful investment professionals who add further depth to our sector and geographic credentials and broaden our technical capabilities.

“The appointments of Roumyana and Senka which follow on from the recruitment of Sara Sulaiman and Martin Edsinger in December, underline the cultural diversity of the Arle team and our commitment to active ownership.”

In February Arle announced that retiring 3M chairman, president and CEO Sir George Buckley would join the private equity firm as chairman at the beginning of June.
