French private equity firm Argos Soditic has promoted Guillaume Lefebvre to associate after just over 18 months at the investment house.
The 29-year-old joined the firm as an analyst in February last year following stints with CM-CIC Capital Finance and Rothschild & Cie.
Argos said Lefebvre had worked on its purchase of food supplements developer and distributor Natural Distribution, the third deal from its sixth buyout fund.
Natural currently has a turnover of €32m, and plans to accelerate growth in its existing pharmacy and specialist shop markets as well as boost its export business.
Argos, which has offices in Paris, Milan and Geneva, focuses on management buy-outs and buy-ins in small and medium-sized companies, taking stakes of €5m to €50m in businesses with revenues of €20m to €40m
It currently has more than €700m of assets under management and has carried out over 50 transactions since being formed in 1989.
