Private equity advisory and fund of funds firm Altius Associates has beefed up its global investment team by hiring Jeffrey Kopocis and Arnaud Garel-Galais as senior associates.
Kopocis joins Altius from a Virginia-based multi-family office, where he was a member of the investment committee, playing a key role in conducting due diligence across private equity and venture capital funds.
He has also worked for Cambridge Associates where he was a senior hedge fund analyst.
Prior to joining Altius Garel-Galais worked for Natixis’ private equity business Dahlia Partners focusing on the management of private equity fund-of-funds.
Altius head of investment Bradford Young said, “We are delighted that we were able to attract these high calibre investment professionals to strengthen our global investment team on the both sides of the Atlantic.
“These appointments reflect our commitment to providing clients with an outstanding level of advice and support.”
Altius currently has $23bn under management across private equity and real assets funds.
Back in March Altius hired William Charlton as a partner and head of US investments.
