US mid-market firm Parthenon Capital Partners has closed its fourth fund, Parthenon Investors IV, on its hard cap of $700m, exceeding its fund target of $600m.
“We appreciate the support we received from our existing limited partners and are also excited about the relationships we’ve developed with an outstanding group of new investors,” said Brian Golson, managing partner and San Francisco office head.

Parthenon Capital Partners has offices in Boston and San Francisco and focuses on sectors such as n business services, financial and insurance services and healthcare. Last year the firm, alongside Lovell Minnick Partners and Fisher Lynch completed the acquisition of financial advisory group H.D. Vest Financial Services from Wells Fargo & Company.
