French venture capital firm Time Equity Partners is said to be looking to raise €100m before the end of the year for its latest fund.
Local newspaper Les Échos said the firm had already raised two thirds of its latest vehicle from investors including its parent group, European investment firm Yam Invest, which committed €33m.
The French government could commit up to €30m, while corporate investors such as EDF and Bouygues were also named as potential limited partners.
The firm was founded in 2009 by its management team and Yam Invest, the only LP in its first fund which closed on €50m in 2010.
TEP focuses on late stage investments, with previous deals including software storage company Oodrive and mobile marketing business MNG.
