In June last year Northgate led a $50m funding round for Rocket Fuel, bringing its fundraising total to $76m.
Between 2009 and 2011, the company’s compound annual growth rate exceeded 325 per cent. Rocket Fuel posted an $11.9m loss on revenues of $92.6m in the first half of 2013.
Magna Global estimates that the display, mobile, social and video channels for digital advertising are expected to grow from $42 billion in 2012 to $73 billion in 2016 globally.
