Singapore sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings has sold its stake in US natural gas company Cheniere Energy on the back of a spike in its share price.
IT sold sold 9.2 million shares for $257m, according to an SEC filing.
Temasek previously acquired 15.5 million Cheniere shares in 2012 alongside private equity firm RRJ Capital, adding a further 18.3 million shares later that year, before selling a portion of its stake in early 2013.
In February RRJ Capital topped up its investment in Cheniere by pouring a further $300m into the Texas-based natural gas producer.
