RIT Capital Partners, the London-listed investment trust chaired by Lord Rothschild is the latest firm in the frame to buy up the restaurant chain, according to City AM.
Earlier this year AltAssets reported that firms in the running to acquire the UK burger chain for as much as £100m included Equistone, Graphite Capital, Investcorp, LDC, Lion Capital, Phoenix Equity Partners and TA Associates.
Silverfleet Capital did not submit a bid despite being reported as looking at the company.
