Investment firm Ridge Road Partners revealed that it has completed three deals in its first year.
The New York-based firm has evaluated 17 deals and completed three investments in the US, Europe and Africa in the consumer finance, education finance and oil logistics sectors.
Ridge Road co-founder Adam Jiwan said, “For the last year, we have been focusing on finding compelling opportunities with an emphasis on developing a solid foundation for the firm.
“We have experienced early success over the past year and are excited to continue investing in and developing strong businesses.”
Before launching Ridge Road with entrepreneur Brian Norton in October 2012, Jiwan served as a partner of multi-billion dollar hedge fund TPG-Axon Capital Management, where he helped develop its international presence.
Norton was previously a partner and co-founder of Arch Bay Capital, a distressed real estate fund that has invested $1.5bn in more than 15,000 properties in the US.
