The investment will allow the company to boost its development by pursuing its commercial and marketing efforts and expand its catalogue, it said. The company’s founder, Alexandre Richard, and his partners still hold a large majority stake of the company.
Xavier Brunaud, investment manager, Omnes Capital, said, “In a short time, Prodealcenter has been able to position itself as the leader, in France, in the online distribution of agricultural spare parts. What could have been perceived originally as a niche market proves to be an extremely significant one, where one can find farmers always at the cutting edge of mechanization and productivity. We have been seduced by the enthusiasm and efficiency of Alexandre Richard and are very happy to support Prodealcenter in this new step in its development aiming at structuring the company to support its important growth.”
Omnes completed its split from temporary owner Coller Capital earlier this eyar, with plans to raise a new private equity fund. The firm recently invested €15m in the leveraged buyout of social housing renovation specialist Eratome group.
